Zendesk to double its workforce in Dublin in creating 30 jobs

Zendesk, a provider of cloud-based customer service software, today announced that it intends to double its Dublin workforce by creating 30 new jobs at its Development Centre and European Data Centre in Dublin. Zendesk officially launched its first European Data Centre in Dublin in March 2013.

Zendesk enables organisations to provide superior service to their customers across multiple channels - from their websites, emails and phones to Facebook, Twitter and chat. More than 30,000 companies use Zendesk to provide customer service to over 200 million people.

Colum Twomey, VP Product Engineering at Zendesk said: ‘We're growing more quickly than we expected in Ireland and building a strategic hub of operations in Dublin. We have already reached our goal for 30 new jobs by the end of 2014, and we're now moving into a new building that will allow us to double the size of our current operations. We have been impressed by the rich source of local talent and are investing in creating more jobs across sales, finance, engineering, customer support and operations.”
